When you get stuck on something or when you're struggling or when your brain's fried, understand when that happens and just take take an hour break. I think it's really important for everybody, especially people who are new to school, to understand that taking a break for an hour is really not a bad thing.

You really have to go into it with an open mind. It doesn't matter what you struggled with. It doesn't matter how many times you dropped out or how bad you think you were at math. It's a brand new learning opportunity. Just embrace the journey.

If you’re not really the type of person that thinks they're going to excel in an online-only school, focus on the things that you can make physical. Get physical textbooks so you can highlight in them. Get notepads so you can write handwritten notes during lectures. Make as much of it as tangible as you can.
